(NEW YORK) - A new festival tour marks the latest attempt to bring electronic music on the road in the U.S. The Electric Highway tour-sponsored by Spin magazine and BFGoodrich tires-will feature the Crystal Method, Fluke, Arkarna, Uberzone, Green Velvet, and DJs including Josh Winkand Frankie Bones. The tour will hit 15 cities starting Aug. 15 in San Diego. Other proposed electronic fests have not fared well this summer. Chaotica was canceled before it got off the ground, and Big Top is being rescheduled, with some of its biggest acts, including Aphex Twin, now slated to play only select dates.
