Jack Peñate
A stablemate of Adele at XL Records, Jack Penate played the clubs and pubs of the UK with her before having his breakthrough hit Second, Minute Or Hour in 2007. Unlike Adele however, he never quite became the darling of the moment popwise. Undeterred, Jack returned in 2009 with storming single Be The One and album Everything Is New, sporting of-the-day fashion and a devil may care attitude to smartness - dishevelled is a word that suits Jack well. His music could also be described the same way which is why we love him and hope that his sophomore effort sees him catapulted into pop's premier stratosphere. If Calvin Harris can do it, then so can Jack.
