Survivor

We have Survivor to thank for what is perhaps the best AOR rocker of the 1980s, "Eye of the Tiger."
To the band's dismay, "Eye of the Tiger" was used in G. W. Bush's second presidential campaign. Apparently, it worked.
Singer Jim Peterik first made his mark with the Ides of March, the Chicago band that sang "Vehicle" in 1970.
Survivor also had a song on the "Karate Kid" soundtrack: "The Moment of Truth," which nobody remembers.
Singer Jimi Jamison took over in 1985 and Survivor produced their final radio hit, "High on You" before fading away.
