Bela Fleck

Widely acknowledged as one of the world's most innovative and technically proficient banjo players, Fleck plays newgrass.
Fleck was named after Hungarian composer Bela Bartok.
Fleck's influences include Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, the Allman Brothers, Aretha Franklin, the Byrds and Tony Trishchka.
Fleck's been associated with several bands, including Spectrum, New Grass Revival, Strength in Numbers and the Flecktones.
Fleck plays the banjo on the Dave Matthews Band song "The Last Stop," on 1998's "Before These Crowded Streets."
